Fig. 04 — Team training

Team training

100% of the game is spent skating.

Every shift, your players are accelerating to the puck, getting open, and changing direction. A faster-skating team moves the puck better and creates more time and space. We've specialized in team skating for over ten years — every age and level, in person at Toronto arenas.

What your team gets

A planned block, not a pickup skate.

01

75 / 25 split

Three-quarters pure power skating, one-quarter power skating with pucks — fundamentals first, game context throughout.

02

Goal-setting with your coach

We align on what the team needs before the first whistle, and we track it through the block.

03

Skill-building lesson plans

Every session is planned and progressive — basic to advanced drills, never improvised.

04

Technical breakdown

Each skill explained head-to-skate, demonstrated, then repeated to build muscle memory.

05

Split-squad option

Once a baseline is set, divide the squad — power skating with us, hockey skills with your staff, on a rotation.

06

Post-session debrief

Your coaching staff leaves every session knowing what was worked on and what comes next.

When to book

Our availability is limited and we book up fast. Budget and organize your power-skating coaching at tryout time (April–May) — even before your ice is allocated. Get on our team-request list and we'll prioritize by when you reached out, as practice times open up in July–September.

We get the best results from consecutive weekly sessions — ideally starting with August training camp or once a week through September–November.

Pricing

1–9 sessions$200+ HST / hour
10+ sessions$180+ HST / hour

Team provides the ice rental. Players who need a specific skill — defense, fast feet, agility — can register for those Edge sessions as part of their training.

🏆 We coach champions.

We've taken teams from their first power-skating session through to city championships and provincial titles.
