Fig. 01 — The camp slate

Toronto power-skating camps

School's out. The fast players are on the ice.

Holiday, March Break, PA Day and Summer — every break is a chance to close the gap. Edge camps are skating-first, grouped by age and skill, and run in person at our Toronto arenas. Not a learn-to-skate program: players should skate forward unassisted (ages 6+).

Breaks are where the gap gets closed.

Concentrated days of repetition build muscle memory faster than a once-a-week class can. That's why players come off an Edge camp visibly quicker.

formatFull-day · skating AM · pucks PM

Our biggest camp of the year. Off-season is when the gap gets closed — full days split between power skating in the morning and puckhandling in the afternoon, so players arrive at fall tryouts a step ahead.

  • Power-skating mornings, puckhandling afternoons
  • U7–U8 and U7–U13 streams, grouped by age & skill
  • The off-season edge that shows up at fall tryouts

Nine weeks at Forest Hill Arena for players 6–13, grouped by age and skill — we coach all levels, House League to AA. Plus two exclusive weeks at Leaside Arena for players 8–13, Select to AA. This is not a learn-to-skate program — players must be registered with a hockey association.

Full Day Camp

9:10am – 4:00pm

An immersive day that blends power skating and hockey skills. Mornings refine skating technique; afternoons focus on hockey drills and gameplay. A mid-day break with outdoor play and lunch lets players rest, bond, and recharge — so they gain both skill and a refreshed mindset (4 hrs on ice + 3 hrs outdoors).

Half Day — Power Skating (AM)

9:10 – 11:00am

Intensive morning power-skating drills built for speed, agility, and edge control, plus a deeper understanding of skating mechanics. Includes an hour of outdoor play for a balanced day (10-min break at 10:00).

Half Day — Hockey Skills (PM)

1:10 – 3:00pm

Afternoon hockey-skills development — puck handling, shooting, and situational gameplay to build confidence on the ice — combined with fun and an hour of outdoor play (10-min break at 2:00).
