MORNING ADVANCED POWER SKATING

Monday U9,U10 Power Skating:

For focused, competitive players tracking toward AAA.  This skating-first program builds perfect technique in forward/backward stride, stops, tight turns, edges, and crossovers. As weeks progress, these core skills are integrated into multi-step, game-based drills to develop control, confidence, and situational awareness.

January 12 – March 30, 2026 (No Skate February 16 and March 16) at Forest Hill Arena

Group size 8-12 players

Criteria – for players U9, U10 CDS Tier 1, Klevr League and AAA with advanced skating skills and a high level of focus. Video of your player may be requested with registration. Must have attended Edge Power skating for 1-2 years. 

Tuesday U10, U11 AA-AAA Power Skating: 

Designed for returning players with solid skating foundation. We’ll review core skills like stride and edge control, then advance into dynamic drills emphasizing crossovers and complex turn types. Sessions build toward game-rep drills that challenge agility and balance.

January 13 – March 31, 2026 (No Skate March 17) at Forest Hill Arena

Group size 10-12 players

Criteria – for players U10, U11 AA-AAA level. Must have attended Edge Power skating for 1-2 years and have advanced skating skills and a high level of focus.

Wednesday U11, U12 AA-AAA Power Skating: 

Tailored for experienced players entering high-level competition. Sessions focus on speed, power, and agility through game-rep drills.  Skills are broken down and rebuilt where needed – whether it’s pivots, explosive starts, or edge transitions – to help player excel in game like scenarios. 

January 14 – April 1, 2026 (No Skate March 18) at Forest Hill Arena

Group size 8-10 players  

Criteria – for players U11, U12 AA-AAA that have well developed/advanced skating skills. Approx 3-4 year training with Edge Power Skating. 

**We reserve the right to move players to groups appropriate for their skill level. Morning sessions are for advanced skills only. We have many other programs for players at mid-tier level**

A refund will be given, if we are notified 2 weeks prior to the session starting, less $50.00 administration fee. After the start date of any program, there will be no refund or credit for any cancellation

We are empathetic that schedules change and conflicts occur. As of September 1, 2016, we will no longer be allowing make-up classes. This is to ensure quality instruction, ensure good student to coach ratio, and minimize disruption to classes.
